...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa... English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.

Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

English River at Kalona.

Until Tuesday afternoon.
Impacts
At 18.0 feet, Water has overtopped roads causing closures. This includes 130th St, Kiwi Ave, Orange Ave and Poplar Ave. Extensive agricultural land near the river is flooded. Water begins backing into town on the north side of the river.
Additional details
- At 5:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
