...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa... Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County. Iowa River near Lone Tree affecting Louisa, Johnson and Washington Counties.

- At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8 feet tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued by Wednesday morning.
