Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional details
- At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding, primarily along the Interstate 95 corridor. Between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Walterboro, Hendersonville, Colleton Medical Center, Thayer, Drawdy and Lowcountry Regional Airport.
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
