Description
What
For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 30 kt and seas 7 to 10 feet. For the Hurricane Watch, east winds 25 to 35 kt and seas 12 to 18 feet.
Where
Alenuihaha Channel, Big Island Leeward Waters and Big Island Southeast Waters.
When
For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM HST Friday. For the Hurricane Watch, beginning at 6 AM HST Friday.
Impacts
Extremely strong winds will cause hazardous seas which will likely capsize or damage vessels and severely reduce visibility.
Instructions
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for extreme conditions before conditions deteriorate further.
