Description

Overview

At 729 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Belvue to near Keene, moving northeast at 45 mph.

Hazard

70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

Source

Law enforcement. Wind gusts around 65 MPH were reported in St Marys at 723 PM CDT.

Impacts

Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Maple Hill, Paxico, and Keene. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 333 and 345.

Instructions

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
